Payment

At Hummingbird Counseling and Consulting, we strive to make the payment process as convenient and straightforward as possible for our clients. Here's an overview of our payment policies and options:

Payment Methods:

  • We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and HSA (Health Savings Account) cards.

  • Payment can be processed securely at the end of each session.

Insurance Coverage and Reimbursement:

  • Insurance Providers: We are in-network with Aetna, UnitedHealthcare / Optum, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

  • Coverage: Depending on your specific insurance plan, our services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan.

  • Verification: We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to verify coverage details, including co-payments, deductibles, and any out-of-pocket expenses you may be responsible for.

  • Payment Options: For clients with insurance coverage, we will handle the billing and processing of claims directly with the insurance company. You may be responsible for co-payments, co-insurance, or deductible amounts as determined by your insurance plan.

  • Out-of-Network Services: If you have a different insurance provider or are seeking services out-of-network, we can provide a superbill (detailed invoice) for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider about their policies regarding out-of-network mental health services.

Cancellation Policy:

  • We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Confidentiality and Security:

  • Your privacy and confidentiality are paramount to us. All payment transactions are handled securely and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

If you have any questions about our payment policies or would like to discuss payment arrangements, please feel free to reach out. We are here to assist you and ensure that your therapy experience at Hummingbird Counseling and Consulting is as smooth and supportive as possible.
